Otero County Commissioners approved: proclamations declaring NM a 'Multi-cultural State', Railroad History Days, 17 temporary "new hires" to work primary election, about 10 requests involving increases in $$$ to various departments and Fiscal Year 06/07 Interim Budget. (Average 8 1/2% COLA for county employees.)

The goat problem was addressed by county attorney who found statute whereby a petition can be signed by 25 "Timberonians" which would produce an order (local rule) that no animals can run at large in the Village.

Commissioner Moore suggested the next Regular Meeting be held in Timberon.
